Valentines Day

(before the river incident)

I padded through the woods, and waited for the wolf whom I was to meet with to appear. I impatiently rolled my eyes as I thumped my tail against the ground. I heard the branches of a bush rustle, and I whipped around. I smiled as he came out of the bushes. "Shania." he said as he stepped towards me. I said his name softly as I walked to him. I nuzzled my muzzle with his. "So, you came? You were a little late." I said. He chuckled. "no, it appears you were early!" We both laughed and sat down together, watching the sunset. I leaned up against him and closed my eyes. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He said as he licked my head.
